Time to prep for moving

As you all know, we are moving to Iowa next month. To get ready for the move, I have started doing little projects around the house. One of those projects entails removing border in the house. The kids think it is a fun project and love to help out!

Here is Kayla spraying it down with warm water so it will peel off easy.

Time to scrape it off. Thankfully it peels off super easy!

Carter decided that he needed to get in on the action as well.

He did pretty good with it, except he tried to eat pieces of it!

Adam's New Friend

For those of you that have never been outside of the US, let me introduce you to Adam's new "friend"...not really...but he was exploring Adam's area today along with a much larger buddy. I do believe these animals are called Camel Spiders. They are very mean creatures who evidently will chase you and jump at you! I am currently taking suggestions for a name for this little fella to send to Adam. If you have an ideas feel free to leave a comment!

Treasure Island

My friend Mikki has some family in town for the week. On Friday we all chipped in and rented Treasure Island for the night. It is an indoor area that has rock climbing, bouncy castle, mini golf, and skate park. The kids had a blast!

Here is Kayla and Mikki's friend Jini jumping in the castle.

Time for the mommies to try jumping as well. They needed Kayla to teach them how to jump.

Carter amused himself with mini-golf for most of the night. He loved to just walk around with the club and ball in his hand.

More bouncy castle photos....

Here is Carter with his golf equipment again. The helmet came in handy because each of the mini-golf holes are surrounded by brick. which he tripped over several times!

Next to last swim lesson

Thursday night Kayla has her next to last swim lesson. She is making really good progress.

Here she is blowing bubbles with her teacher.

Time to kick across the pool with Miss Sue, her teacher.

She just jumped in to the pool.

Here she is right after she came back up from jumping in and going under the water.

This is how Carter hangs out during swim lessons. He doesn't like the leash, but without it he tries to jump in to the pool.

It's Slumber Party Time!

Claire spent the night at our house on Wednesday while her mommy was out of town. Here are some photos of Wednesday night and Thursday during the day..

It's popcorn time!! The kids all did a really good job of sharing the bowl of popcorn between them.

It has now become a Lange household sleepover tradition (purely by accident!) that we eat cake for breakfast. I know you all must think I am crazy, but it is one of the few treats that the kids get of this nature. For this sleepover Claire provided pink frosted cupcakes. Of course Carter wasted no time diving right in after he screamed Cake so loud out of excitement.

Here is my little cuties just playing...he has this thing where he can't be fully clothed if he is playing, so he is either wearing a shirt or pants, but very rarely both!

When Carter went down for a nap the girls asked to take a shower with Kayla's "soap paints" as she calls them. Here they are all painted up before bathtime.

Here they all are getting ready to head out for swim lessons. Don't you love the "twins"
