Kayla got her very first bike today! We found a super cute Disney Princess bike at a garage sale, and it was in great condition. She immediately made us go to the BX to get her some knee pads and a helmet (and training wheels because the bike did not have any). Then she was off to the races riding up and down our street and sidewalk with Adam helping.
She is actually pretty good at it too! She struggles a bit to remember to brake, but not too bad on her first time.
She likes to watch her feet instead of watching in front of her!

Very cute! We've been on the look out for a garage sale bike, but haven't found one that has been acceptable to Maeve.
Yeah we had been for a long time too and managed to get lucky this time!
