My very dear friend Julie was in Wisconsin this past week to visit her paretns. They are only an hour from Adam's parents and so the kids and I headed up to La Crosse for a visit!
Here are the happy girls after their reunion! We took a cruise on a paddleboat along the Mississippi.

After the river we went to Myrick park where there was this HUGE playground..this photo is only half of it!
After the park we headed to an old time ice cream parlor downtown for ice cream..YUMMY!
Later that night we took the kids down to the boat docks behind Bud and Jan's condo to feed the ducks.
Time for a little movie watching to wind down..
Saturday we spent the day at Julie's Aunt and Uncle's boat house on the river. Kayla was not happy about having to wear her life jacket..oh well...
Carter was a happy camper all day long!

The girls finished the night off with a picnic on the deck of the boathouse next door.
We had a wonderful weekend and already miss everyone!!
